The curling season usually runs from early September to mid-April. In summer the ice rink is closed and no curling takes place. Nevertheless, the club life in this time does not rest completely.
Individual teams or groups of curlers are also active together in the summer, e. g. during summer training in Tempelhof, bicycle tours, hikes, canoe trips, etc.
During the season (in autumn/winter) we train and play 2 hours on Monday evening. Usually, players are trained for one hour in specific situations and tasks. Afterwards teams are formed and the game is played..
At the beginning of the season, a Tournament is held, in which the team members are drawn by lot. The season ends with the traditional "Legederby" (Playing of given situations).
Over the entire duration of the season, an internal club championship is played in alternation with "normal training matches", in which six teams are currently competing for the club trophy. The championship is usually divided into preliminary, intermediate and final round, each team has at least 5 matches, depending on their position.
The club championship at the 'ESC 2007 - Curling' is at the same time the Berlin championship.
